October 28th - SUPER
Superannuation payments are required to be received by super funds by this date. So press "pay" on this now, so it isn't deemed to be a late super payment and attract fines or penalties.
All super is due by 28th day after the end of each quarter.
October 31st - PERSONAL TAX
October 31st is the deadline for lodging your personal income tax return for the 2021/2022 year if you prepare your own tax return.
It is also the due date for ALL of your tax returns if you have multiple years outstanding.
If you use a tax agent (like Northwest Accountancy), your tax return will be due either 31st March or 15th May, depending on your income and if you had a tax bill in the last lodged tax return.
November 25th - Quarterly BAS
November 25th is the deadline for lodging and paying your July - September Business Activity Statement (BAS) for quarter 1 of the 2022-2023 financial year.
MONTHLY BAS
Monthly BAS lodgers pay and lodge by the 21st of each month.
BUSINESS TAX RETURNS
Your business tax return will be due either 31st March or 15th May, depending on the size of your business and if you had a tax bill last year.
